
Leadership development
This is the course for those of you who have already completed a year at a folk high school and who want to develop further as a person and leader.
Content on the line
– Minimum 15 hours per week together with students on one of the other lines at Trondheimsfjord.
Focus on practice in management. Follow-up and weekly evaluation together with this line's teacher.
– 3 hours of teaching practice per week.
– Focus on leadership.
– 1 evening per week as co-supervisor / environmental student.
– Co-responsible for implementing leisure activities, meetings and activities for fellow students on other lines.
– 4 hours per week of leadership theory, communication, relationship building, psychology, as well as preparation and evaluation of electives, peer supervision and other activities.
– 2 hours every other week on the topic of faith and interpersonal relationships
– 4 hours Saturday seminar
Admission requirements
– Must be at least 20 years old the year the school year starts.
– Must have previously attended a year of folk high school or Bible school.
– Must have abilities and aptitudes within the field of study to which they are assigned.
– Must be adaptable and flexible.
Students on the leadership development line start approximately 1 week before the other students, and finish approximately 1 week after the other students have left.
