Weightlifting course for everyone

At Trondheimsford, all students have the opportunity to take a security guard course during the year, and the vast majority of those who take one of the security lines take it. We take the course through PCM, which is Central Norway's largest supplier of security guards for concerts, events and fairs. PCM is a certified provider of security guard training and Environmental Lighthouse! The lecturer has over 35 years of experience in the industry. PCM writes about the course;

"Basic training shall provide the guard with competence that can prevent unwanted incidents such as accidents, incidents and criminal acts or reduce the consequences thereof. The training shall lay the foundation for developing competence in risk assessments, safety measures, emergency preparedness work and conflict management. Furthermore, the training shall promote competence in ethics and regulations and health, environment and safety."

                                                                                                                           

A security guard education will give you opportunities to work as a security guard in a variety of industries, for example in security companies, at shopping malls, airports, museums, in valuables transport, or at nightclubs. Other job opportunities may be at emergency centers, as a patient guard, or in reception roles with security responsibilities.

The weightlifting course is spread over a total of four weeks during the school year. In addition, we have practice at events throughout the year, such as concerts at UKA. We take the exam in January/February.
