We focus on physical activity, mental health and community in a warm and inclusive environment. It's about feeling empowered, building self-confidence and living in the present – at your own pace and without pressure!
Do you want to find more happiness, satisfaction and energy in your everyday life? Live Life is the course for those who want to find a good rhythm and balance in life. We will work here and now, to be present in our own lives.
Our starting point is to do something active , do something together and do something meaningful . We do something active through varied training, gym, trips outside and bonfires . We do everything together as a class, and we have programs related to interaction to develop ourselves in a community . Together we explore what gives life meaning and how we get more of it into our lives. It is about, among other things, making connections, feeling a sense of belonging and giving a helping hand to others .
The course also focuses on mental health, with topics such as stress management, self-awareness, communication and psychology. We work with inner peace, self-confidence and awareness of what we see and feel in everyday life.
We want to push boundaries in a safe environment . By trying new things, you will push your own boundaries, gain new experiences and feel a sense of mastering. You will experience true mastering in the face of both small and large challenges, and discover how much you can actually achieve when you are part of a supportive team. Together with the class, we can dare, try, fail and succeed together . And, you don't need any prior knowledge, just come as you are!
This is the course for those who want to live life to the fullest , learn something new every day, find balance and
build self-confidence , while having an everyday life filled with energy, community and joy!

Optional study trip to Club La Santa, Lanzarote – a fitness paradise full of possibilities! Every day you choose at least two activities you want to participate in, such as padel, crossfit, SUP, running, swimming, yoga, boxing, squash or a group class. In addition, we arrange excursions – including to a volcanic crater, a local village with a Sunday market and a large shopping mall.
If you prefer, you can travel to Singapore. You can also choose to stay at school if you want a more affordable school year.
Volunteer trip across all lines to Cambodia to visit the school project in week 46
10-day trip to Greece with the whole school at the beginning of May








Hello! 👋🏻
My name is Inger Helen, and I am a teacher on the "Live Life" course.
Since 2002, I have had the pleasure of teaching here at Trondheimsfjord Folkehøgskole - Fredly.
I am a qualified teacher and have also completed one-year studies in both outdoor activities and physical education.
I have always loved being active – I played volleyball in my youth and in recent years I have
played floorball just for fun. I also enjoy being outdoors and love hiking, both
with and without accommodation.
The best thing about my job is seeing students grow – both in skills and self-confidence.
The most important thing to me is that you enjoy yourself, feel safe and have a fantastic year. At Lev Livet you get to try lots of different things, find joy in movement and be part of a class environment where we cheer each other on.
