Event management
Event Management is looking for people who are curious about events , festivals and cultural life.
Through theory and practical work, you will gain insight into how festivals are planned, financed, built and implemented .
You will learn about the division of labor behind a cultural event and become familiar with the tasks required to set up a festival, event or concert.
We learn from the best in the industry, including Eirik Brevik – general manager of the Pstereofestivalen in Trondheim . He has extensive experience from, among other things, Trondheim Calling, Festningenfestivalen and as founder of the Heimfestivalen in Fosen.
The festival industry has developed a lot, and the need for people who can plan, manage and execute cultural events is great. The skills you gain are also useful in other creative industries such as theater, art, film, concerts and events. Whether you dream of becoming a producer, communications consultant or festival director, you will get a solid foundation to build on.
With us, you don't just talk about festivals - you become part of the crew . From ideation and planning to rigging, implementation and evaluation, you gain experience, contacts and confidence to take the step into the festival world - whether you want to start something of your own or contribute to something bigger.

Tours and travels
The class and teacher will look at opportunities to travel to a larger festival somewhere in the world. Where, when and which festival will depend a bit on the interests of the class, flight options and budget. Will it be the Amsterdam Dance Event in October, Coachella in April, or Time Wrap in Germany? Or does anyone know of a smaller festival that would be sooo much fun to experience?
Wherever we travel, it will also be important to get to know the country or city we are visiting! And maybe we will meet someone who is with some of the volunteers or organizers of the festival?It is also possible to join a trip to Club La Santa in Lanzarote or Singapore in week 6.

In addition, the whole school is traveling together on a study trip to Greece at the beginning of May!
