Half a year of training and fun for those who have completed their first year of service
Are you in the military? This line is made especially for you who are going dark for Christmas!
This is a social and fun semester where you get to join in activities and trips, and in addition you can:
- Take free weightlifting training
- Take up subjects
- Take the note.
- Train yourself for physical admission requirements to, for example, the police academy

Practical guard training
Internships in connection with the National Basic Training for Security Guards take place in collaboration with PCM. In addition, you will receive extended internships at small and large events, usually in collaboration with the security companies PCM and Zone Security. We have been to the Nobel Peace Concert, Adele, Deep Purple, Volbeat, Justin Bieber, Muse and the Europa League at Lerkendal, among others.
Exercises
Various exercises within communication, orientation, searches, security, fire protection and first aid. PLIVO exercises (Ongoing life-threatening violence) and dog markers in collaboration with the police.
Excursions
Varies from year to year. Previously we have been to the city center police station in Trondheim, the Police College (PHS), the Prison School (KRUS), Trondheim Prison, Telenor Arena, the Customs Service, Trøndelag Fire and Rescue Service and Trøndelag 110 call center.
Tours and travels
Optional study trip to Florida, USA
This tour includes meetings with American police, visits to a prison and fire station, and visits to tourist attractions such as Universal Studios and Kennedy Space Center.If you prefer, you can travel to La Santa in Lanzarote or to Singapore. You can also choose to stay at the school if you want a more affordable school year.
The whole school is going on a study trip to Greece at the beginning of May!
Tours in Norway: We have previously conducted tours in both Trondheim and Oslo within the police, prison, fire, customs, ambulance and concert arenas.
We can provide security at large or small concerts and other events.
Criminal record: The school does not require that you have a clean criminal record, but if you are going to take this course you should have this in order, as we cooperate with security companies throughout the year and will be visiting prisons, among other places.
Hi! My name is Torgrim 👋
I have been a teacher here at Trondheimsfjord since 2005, and since then we have trained over 700 security guards here at the school!
Before that, I worked as a carpenter, but the security industry has always been a big part of my professional life.
I like to work practically and give you realistic challenges that prepare you for what awaits you in the profession. With me, you learn from real experiences, practice in real situations and develop skills that you can take with you on your journey – whether you want to become a security guard, police officer or something else in the security field.
